Thought police, no one can avoid them,

Thought police, are out there, thinking ,     

thinking how to catch your thoughts –

skulking in alleys and doorways,

hanging on your every deliberation,

tuning in by wireless connection,

seeking out any unrest, any deviation

from the new norm, the new speak

… the new order.

Thought police created and empowered

by today’s administration,

to ensure universal indoctrination,

and political affiliation -

No one can block out their subliminal probes;

 the revolutionaries and subversives are

being flushed from their holes –

until we’re all brainwashed and programmed

to be authorities drones,

and when everyone’s turned

and everything’s changed

freedom will be forgotten ;

 individuality constrained.
