The Dead Snail Diaries, live at Scarborough

entry picture

For one night only, Valley Press presents a complete reading of Jamie McGarry's third collection of poetry, The Dead Snail Diaries, at Scarborough library, Vernon Road, 6pm, on Thursday 28 July. Already a somewhat unique tale of live from a snail's eye view, the live version adds further layers to the extraordinary story of a man, a shoe and a snail, with topics including the unhealthy relationship between snails and slugs,  snail speed dating, and the mindset needed to become a snail-racing champion. Tickets are available on the night, and refreshments are included. Entry £3. Map
