Bespoken Word
was the first series in Britain dedicated to modern performance poetry, and since 2003 has featured in national awards, provoked praise and controversy in the press, and been the subject of a demonstration at Speakers' Corner.

This year, the programme comes from the historic  Troubadour Coffee House in London, which has featured live poetry for over 30 years, and from the Latitude Festival in Suffolk, where the Poetry Arena hosts the largest live poetry event in Europe.

Highlights this series include Polar Bear, ShortMAN, Murray Lachlan Young, Scroobius Pip and John Agard.
