Write Out Loud at the Waterside

Write Out Loud at the Waterside arts centre, Sale town centre, tonight, 24 April, at 7.30 pm presents three top guests plus open mic. First time readers are especially welcome. Open mic spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. If you want a space, get there early as spaces go quickly. The guests are: Sophie Hall, a finalist in the Manchester Literature Festival's poetry slam. Sophie has performed in London, Leeds, Manchester, Bolton and Hebden Bridge. http://www.writeoutloud.net/poets/sophiehall

Dave Stannage: wth his son Martin, Dave hosted an open mic night called ILL-Literature, held in Manchester at both the Briton's Protection (BP) and The Hare and Hounds pub. He likes to vary his style of writing, experimenting between rhyming schemes and free verse.http://www.writeoutloud.net/poets/davestannage

Fatima Al Matar’s poetry has appeared in several magazines and has been shortlisted for various competitions. Winner of multiple poetry slams, Fatima has a published collection entitled The Heart and the Subsidiary. http://fatimaalmatar.blogspot.com/
