Part of QUEER CONTACT 2011. Dominic Berry hosts a night of alternative voices featuring headliner Rosie Lugosi, the Outspoken poets -  that includes me! - also Regie Cabico from New York and Danez Smith

Mon 14 Feb - OPEN MINDS - VALENTINE'S DAY SPECIAL

Earth Cafe, Turner Street, Manchester

Mixed media night including Earth Cafe drinks, cakes and food, with music from Jamie Deane and The Music Resistance band, dancer Gemma Connell with MC and beat maker Twizted Rootz providing the tracks, guest poetry spot from me, Cherry Deuce drag artiste, comedian Lee Moore. Plus 5 minute OpenSpace, book a slot in advance. 

5pm onwards, (I’m on around 7.45pm), £3/£2, couples discount 2 for £5.

Lancashire Writing Hub present a special night with the Sixfold Poets: Sarah Hymas, Elizabeth Burns, Mike Barlow, Carole Coates, Jane Routh and Ian Seed presenting their piece on the theme of water. I'm doing a 10 min slot too with others, there's open mic, and some music too.
