Huddersfield Literature Festival 2011

This year’s Huddersfield Literature Festival is taking place at various venues throughout the city from the 16th to 20th March.

The festival is launched with a celebration of 25 years of Peepal Tree Press. Though this is a free event tickets will go fast so it’s best to book early.

There are some well known and prestigious names taking part: David Peace, Anne Fine, Simon Armitage, David Nobbs, AL Kennedy and controversial teenage fiction writer Melvin Burgess.

The programme is packed full of premières and special commissions and there are opportunities to enjoy readings, music, comedy and workshops to help develop your writing technique and express your creativity.
