Valentine

The softest touch to gossamer skin,
a finger stroke of desire and lust.
I stare into your eyes,
as they stare into mine.

You seem to see me,
and yet see through me
a pale blue gaze
that sees a world beyond.

I slide my hand into yours
as I lay you down,
the earth our bed;
star spattered sky our canopy.

No-one will know you
like I know you.
No-one will care
like I care.

I go to leave you now
and smooth your dress
down along your legs
as you sleep serenely.

And as I drive away
from where you lay
on the cold, desolate moor
I smile in the knowledge
That nobody will love you more.

I didn't read this first time around cos I thought it might be 'sloppy', well duh me!

Cold cruel ending there - very 70s Alice Cooper!

WOW... and here I thought it was going to be all romantic! But no!
Nice twist, even though this is very creepy!
