The Light of life
The Light of life
I wish good day to this shining light
that billows down enchanted beams
It shows the way of love and truth
Can this be our path to follow
And does it lead to our tomorrow
Let not our feet go astray
To find the shadows that hid away
For not in darkness can we abode
Mankind must heed our word of warning
For if tomorrow darkness dawns
Mankind will weep and sadly morn
So place your faith in shinning light
And it,s good grace will stay ever bright
You hold back the tide of human woe
You keep us warm and flowers grow
And yet they take little note of you
Reaping the benefits of your labour
Never seeing darkness edging ever nearer
Take and take is there desire giving nothing
To you my yellow ball of heat and light the sun
