Warwick Words Writers’ Group will be reading their poetry, short prose and scripts followed by an open mic session on Thursday, 24 February 2011, at The Warwick Arms Hotel, High Street, Warwick.

Warwick Words Writers stemmed from the Warwick Words Festival of Literature and Spoken Word that started in October 2006, and writer Andrew Davies is their patron.  The group still supports the Festival by promoting it through publicity and production of its work, and has a page on the Festival's web site but is working to institute its own in due course. It produced its first calendar this year featuring the work of 12 of its poets’.

The evening starts at 7.30 p.m., and tickets are £3.00, available on the door
