I’m Gone

entry picture
Without an excuse, I must leave
Do not misunderstand me
Your fear stole my internal peace
Banned my thoughts, my beliefs,

Your hands are so cold
Possessed by a certain inner doubt
Making me run before I even walk
Trapped with an awkward quiet sound,

Your eyes set a fire
Burning any delicacy whatsoever
Neither hope, nor trust exist
Struck your head in distress,

You’re infinitely strange to yourself
Your intentions are hard to tell
Reasons dismissed, chances being thrown
And I’m gone; I’m gone.

Thanks Mirna, Which probably explains the shiver down my spine.
Heaven and hell is a place on earth.
I see now that your poem reflects feelings of love in general and not with one person in mind.
Very individual style of writing which i do enjoy reading. Better still when i can ask about what i can't see in it.
Thanks for your very kind response to my request. Janet.x

Thank you Janet, well for me,It’s all about things that can only be felt.
How each one understands love; and how love sometimes can be received as hate, doubt, fear and aggressiveness, you can feel it every time you’ve been held, every moment you look through the eyes, in time of silence where showing love has totally disappeared; it's about what lies behind paradise, might be hell for real.

Your poem really is very deep, so deep that i couldn't get into what lies behind the words.
To be honest it sent a shiver down my spine, very unusual. I've read it about six times and the same thing happens each time.
I don't suppose you could see your way to explaining a little could you? I'm intrigued.
Love Janet.x

Thank you, and you're absolutely right, "stole" is the right word, thank you :).

"Your fear stole my internal peace" ... great line. Not sure "stolen" is quite right for the flow.

Really enjoyed this deep piece of writing.
