In the past Yasus has toured England, performing at prisons, in mental institutions, in book-shops and schools; he has been poet in residence at the University of Birmingham where his book ‘Overstanding Rastafari’ had its UK launch.

The Blackdrop event will be at the New Art Exchange on Gregory Boulevard (opposite Nottingham’s goose fair site) and will start at 8pm. Tickets cost £5 each and are available from the New Art Exchange Box Office on 0115 924 8630.
