Falling From A Tree
Like a leaf falling from a tree
I leave the thing that was holding me
I tear away from all the chains
And look to see what remains
In the light of the morning dew
I have found myself again brand new
And to you, tree, my last words i'll say
Is thank you, for letting me stay.

A nice illustration of the philosophy of “detachment”; a kind of coping strategy, I suppose. I believe the Buddhists pratice something similair?
