Pacific Sunset

Pacific Sunset

By Lorraine Settanni  8/14/2025

  • He set up his easel, pallet and paints on the west coast beach gazing out at the expanse of the Pacific Ocean for the first time.

He takes in a long breath, having waited so long for this opportunity. The awe builds in him as he waits for the event to start. Should he wait or jump right in? Will it continue to get better or will he miss his chance to capture the feeling that has been held in anticipation for so long.

Does he have enough colors to fulfill his vision of the moment? To match his feelings?

It is just a sunset after all and he has painted dozens of them as he traveled westward.

Hope and God-like support fill him to bursting. This is going to be his masterpiece.
