thinking the battle over

they circle overhead 

ravenous pinstriped 

vulture capitalists,

a select bunch 

fly in to meet, 

one thing in mind 

to cut a cake already 

half eaten 

some call them leaders 

others dealers, 

one fool has eyes  

set on a prize, 

each blow on their 

hands and hope 

to roll a six and take

a bite out of Ukraine
