Move now

There's so much confusion in our choices that, deep inside, not even I can say what decisions I'll make tomorrow. Today I might think one way—especially about life—and tomorrow wake up wanting to do everything differently. The day after that, I might already be living a different situation. The truth is that we really are complex—or maybe we have reasons behind all of this. Reasons that lead us to act and seek a new change. With all of our personality, tomorrow I don’t even know which path down the street I’ll be on. Maybe I’ll start reading a new book, learn to play an instrument, cook something different… There are so many possibilities in each moment.

Among these possibilities, if I get the chance to choose, who knows—maybe I’ll be riding a streetcar. Or maybe I’ll be the one making someone’s favorite meal, trying not to think only of myself, but to give a little more of me to those who really care.

The problem isn’t changing, but having enough foundation to make the change happen—without fear. To make good choices, even the hardest ones, calmly and considering different points of view. Because the danger isn’t going off track, but not being able to place the track back in the right spot afterward. So, choose carefully. The opportunity is now. That’s why I’m doing everything I can to make my dreams come true and board that streetcar 28 I told you about with my family.

We postpone today for tomorrow, trade hours for days, end stories without a final period; we draw, yet forget to color it in. The retelling is good, but time is fleeting.
