Battling Mind

If I thought a smile could make you happy, I would be smiling every day, and if my words helped calm your mind,  there wouldn't be enough words to say.

This anxiety which you're masking, well you get that all from me, its heredity like my loves infectious,  when your feeling low draw some strength from me.

Here I am, a battling mind, every decision, movement and thought, no one told me about coping mechanisms, these negotiations, engineered are self-taught.

In those hours of your discomfort,  when receptors fail to transmit, ignite, and your mind is running racing,  as the overthinking brings sleepless night .

Don't think yourself self into situations, so you become a face amongst the crowd, be whatever your mean to be, whatever you are meant to be, I will still be proud.

When disappointment gathers brooding, and self-doubt clouds the silent peeking sun, despite your own self-belief and motivation, those self-esteem insecurities have begun.

But remind yourself that you are worthy, and equal to who see and what you feel,  and there’s nothing that's so overwhelming, that you can't confront, rethink, process and heal.

Tell yourself a new day is beginning, think sunshine, happiness flowers to offset mood,  and when the rain burst into tears of showers hope will blossom instead of brood.

I know at times you may feel abandoned, but my hopeful heart hopes this is not the case and every time we are together, you can see the love for you resound across my face.

I see you searching through anxiety, for a soul calmness and inner light to peak, but a battling mind can be a conscious, and maybe is he moment of sobriety that you seek.

What you're feeling it's part of the human make-up,  shifting thoughts that pick pull and fight, but rest easy your tied mind, I reassure you it will be all right.

Here's, my smile because I know makes you happy, just like your smile makes my day; hear these words to calm your battling mind, I've found the words I want to say.
