Non-Binaries
it’s never wrong and right
never black and white
always with poor framing
truth escapes while we’re waiting
you I can’t deny
“I” I can’t explain
there’s another dimension
that we’re always missing
easy solutions feel so good
crushing those doubts with boots
if nature only gave us straight lines
as if god was on our side
it’s never green nor orange
look to the forests
the subtleties you miss
haunt your dreams in an embrace
Not those ones and oh’s
We didn’t write the code
We swallow contradictions
Spitting them out when they explode

Robert, there’s a quiet power in how you dismantle binaries without ever shouting. The lines blur not just concepts, but identities — “I can’t explain” hits especially hard. This feels like a poem about seeing — or trying to — in a world desperate for easy labels. Beautifully done.
