The good fight
Firefighters fight fires,
Freedom fighters fight liars,
Fight to fulfill your wild desire—
I fight for reasons much higher.
Not for conquest, nor for greed,
But for the justice some still need.
Against deceit, against despair,
Against the weight some cannot bear.
Physical strikes performed with precision,
A mental fight will make you question decisions.
A formidable right would remove you from position,
Forever the reliable wartime tactician.
Yet wars are not just fought with steel,
They rage within, they break, they heal.
Each wound a lesson, each scar a guide,
To rise again with strength and pride.
