Bubble
There are so many bubbles,
big ones small ones and all sorts in between
But the only ones I care about
are dying in the leaves
They hit them and pop
but sometimes one gets through
And after that where do they go,
they have get popped too
they’ll hit something later down the line
and get disintegrated
From every other bubble
they’ll be separated
But that’s most things really
We all get disintegrated
Split into tiny parts
But later
We’ll be built up
But we’ll never be the collection
we once were
Now your bubbles’s solitude
And if you’re lucky you’ll keep two
But later down you’ll gain more
Pockets of air for you to store
They’ll fall apart quicker
But they’ll be a lot bigger
But that’s just life
Semblance of what we once were
A collection of bubbles washed down the creek
That you’re lucky if you can keep
You’re certainly now more
But you aren’t who you once were
But that’s the joy of it
None’s who they were
You can watch them
As they gain
As they lose
As they change
And there may be a few bubbles
that survived the whole trip
But the leaves will still be there
Pulling them away from your grip
You’ll always gain new bubbles
But it will never be the same
I’m not saying that’s a bad thing
It’s perfectly okay
Cause bigger bubbles
While more breakable
They also look beautiful
You should care for them too
Don’t just see the small bubbles
As they separate from you
You should care for all your bubbles
All sizes, all stages, the old and the new
Cause none wants to disintegrate
But It’ll always be the case
There’s nothing anyone could do
To make that fact untrue
You shouldn’t care about that though
You should go, this life’s your own!
You’re your own collection
And it's ok if it's changed
We’re all different
None is the same
Air trapped from a waterfall
Has traveled down the creek
And ended up collating
Making you unique
You might not be the same as you were
But you’re still there
You’re still you
And you’ll gain more bubbles eventually
Even if you only have a few
You’re not disintegrated
But you will one day
But That’s too much
to think about
You’re a bubble
You don’t have a brain
Just float down the creek
Gain, loose, disintegrate
It’s just a part of you
It shouldn’t cause you pain
You’ll lose yourself
You’ll disintegrate
But you’ll gain more
And that’s the joy
You’ll disintegrate
You’ll fall apart
But you’ll get back together
And one day you won’t
So cherish the bubbles you have
Enjoy them in the present
Because one day in the future
You will lose them
