Second Chances
I'm still hopeful, maybe I'll see you in the street.
The one time you're in my city and the chance we get to meet.
I would start off by explaining my impulsiveness to speak.
How my smile hasn't worked this hard since the last time I saw you in my sheets.
How my feelings haven't changed.
How you still look so heavenly, it's like you never seem to age.
That's when you'll laugh and compliment my actions.
Talk about the old days when we had similar passions.
But something seems off, you shake away like a hazard.
“You only want what you can't have this is how it always happens.”
