Whispers of Resilience
A symphony of sorrow, a dance with the rain,
I used to smile with every grieve,
Finding beauty in heartache, embracing the pain.
A fortress of strength in the shadows of night,
I have been this way since long,
A warrior of silence, still searching for light.
Where stars were within reach, and skies were so wide,
I used to be strong with my weakest thought,
A flicker of hope in the depths of my pride.
A journey of patience, a test of my will,
Lying in bed of worries, my heart is racing,
A tempest of thoughts that I struggle to still.
A whisper of doubt that creeps in like a thief,
I feel so lost and alone,
A shadow of self, wrapped in disbelief.
These wounds are no longer bleeding, they’ve turned into scars,
And my eyes are so dry,
Yet I search for the solace in the light of the stars.
When the dawn breaks anew,
Maybe I will feel better,
And find strength in the view.
A flicker dimmed by the night,
God, please carry on,
And guide me back to the light.
