I would like to see a communion of beliefs,
sincere tolerance and respect for life

I would like to see hatred,
resentment, infamy and pain to disappear

I would like to see the streets stripped 
of dust, ashes and shadows

I would like to see in this fragile silence
that the fragor of the battles
were between pencils and not guns

I would like the hands of the clock 
to announce with chimes,
calm and peace

I would like to see a light to guide us
amidst the uncertainty
that now covers us

I would like, when that , comes
bring us serenity and light
to our souls
