A Woman's Inner Dialogue: More Than Just Butterflies

"I feel butterflies in my stomach whenever I see him.

He looks so perfect.

Is this what people call love?"

A gentle voice whispers,

"Don’t rush! It might be nothing more than admiration."

I ask,

"But what about these butterflies?

They seem to linger, not just pass by."

Another voice replies,

"Love is more than just butterflies.

A wise person once said,

‘Don’t fall in love for their perfections alone.’

The closer you get,

The more their flaws will show.

The most important thing to ask is,

‘Am I ready to embrace those imperfections?’"
