Sacred Saussurea

entry picture

Under the rainy-cloudy night,

I find my way back to life;

The purest of all whites

To catch your pretty eyes.

I’m only here for a moment;

I’ve been asked to move soon.

I’ll fade before the night ends,

Just like the momentary moon.

Mud splatters give me peace,

Smell of petrichor is pure bliss,

Rain drops puts me at ease,

All of which I’ll truly miss.

Smiles to vividly remember,

Until the next September,

You’ll wait for my arrival,

While I’ll wait for my revival.

Do not let that smile drop;

I feel warm and contented,

When my movement stops,

Do not be broken-hearted.

I’m a near and dear guest

Of September’s first rain,

I’m heartily sorry to have

Broken your heart again.

There is something almost magical gently easing through the lines. Nicely as usual, Manish

A nice progression in, and conclusion to, this, Manish.
