A man with a heart

You´re always in a box, the spotlight is on, they judge you of how you talk and how you walk, they only care about who’s in your bed, like a tragic satire where you lost your essence, that's the price to being a man with a heart, they got the ropes and you´re a puppet of their sideshow. The scene begins when the doors open and colors enter in a ray of hope.

You grew up thinking you owe something to the world, quiet boy, you never say a word, when the glass is filling with scars your mind gets lost in a thunderstorm, big smile sad eyes, look for someone who makes you laugh, the serotonin is the key for peace, when you're a man with a heart only love can save you down.

You find love in the things you do, from the music you hear to the poems you write, they take you for granted and give you the spot of the eternal odd, you eat your lunch in a lonely aisle wondering if it's time to run away from the spurious promises, I show my face and the colors I made, they took a picture of my sins and put them in the vault of immoral. “A man with a heart doesn't have double standards” was the footnote of this iliad.

Athena gave me the strength to fight for my faith, I was made by the leftover flames, I ruled the dreams, and I gave all of me to see you with the gods, I would leave the power for an ocean eye, a golden hair and pale skin, would be so mortal, but that would make me a man with a heart, and I prefer to feel than pretend that I don't dream with your face every day.

I love you, and I'm still a man…

But one with heart.

◄ Hey, you!
