I can relate to a fractured sense of self

The pedestal you put yourself on to jump off of.

The intensity of vision

That either collapses or dissipates the more you try to look through it.

The oscillation between two opposing sentiments,

One good and one bad.

Slowly finding yourself harder to be around.

The desire to distill intermittent waves of humor,

The will to maintain a minor chord for more than a minute,

Long enough to harvest your short supply of patience.

The strangulation of your intestines,

Shivering as you withdraw from

Some primitive temptation

To completely devolve and return to a state of inhumanity,

To simply revolve around a dying sun so self righteously -

Or not at all, omnipresently.

Oh how funny - seems that it is often a reoccurring theme in this life! Thank you so much for reading!😉

Thanks Katherine.

The oscillation between two opposing sentiments,
One good and one bad.

I'm just watching a documentary on mannerist art, with a mention of our Jeckyll and Hyde characters.😊😖
