Cream Moon

Cream winter moon

The ghost of the barn owl

Skipping over hedges

Gaze together

Arm slipped on your waist

Comfortably warm,

Your silhouette catching my breath

Inviting a kiss

Gentle as summers day

Scented as an alpine meadow

Doe eyes, calm and still

Draw the heart

Pull it from the mine

Bring it to your sunlight

Press it to your soul

Translucent breath on the cold night air

Dances from your words

Before mixing with the dew

A frozen moment, snapped as an iron brand , burnt on mind

For eternal recall
