Tell me you won’t go

The moon is bright, will you go out tonight? I know it is hard to heal a hurt heart, is it worth it to leave your dreams behind, live your nights in a downtown bar, flying high, forgetting your past life? You were looking at me when you said: "It’s not bad, it will be just one".

Don’t go I’ll be there for you, I’ll show you the world, leave the bourbon in the box, it ain’t your mate, it will catch you in a fallacy where she stayed and you live the life you dreamed, tomorrow will be hell again, it’s a temporary effect of the so-called happiness.

You used to be great, you had the house, the wife, and the children you wanted, how would you know you're gonna lose all your heart in the blink of an eye? That’s the reason you went mad, but who doesn’t? Is she alive after killing a man’s mind? I hope she has found the love of his life.

Blurring view, you got home, and you lay on the couch watching the fan spinning fast like the memories in your mind, confusing the reality in your eyes, it’s all inside your chest, why can't you scream what you feel? The dark is getting in your life, what did you do in the past that now you’re in the deepest tank? You’re getting out of time, come to the surface before it’s too late to breathe, so…

Please don’t go, I’ll be there for you, I will hold you tight til you feel alive, we’ll be there when you’re mind gets dark, we’ll be in the morning when you feel dumb in this big world, you can cry in my arms I won’t judge the reasons why, but promise me you won’t go, we wouldn’t know what to do without you.
