Branches like giant sticks of candy floss
full of pretty pink puffs of cheer 
A scene that is good for the soul 
comes around at this special time of year 

I want to soak in each moment
of the magical cherry blossom trees
Too soon these blooms will become confetti 
fluttering down on the spring breeze
