Face the Fate

entry picture

It was suffocating.

She gasped for breath.

Her hand was reaching out for something.

She fell

from her bed.

Then it stopped.

Her eyes opened.

The sun touched her skin.

The morning came.

But there was one thing that was even scarier coming up.

She wanted to go back to sleep.

Even though it was a nightmare, she knew, at least, it was a nightmare.

Reality.

She knew it.

But she wished she hadn't.

She wished it would never be true like she expected it to be.

Her eyes were tearing

Not because she was scared.

But because what she was scared of was no longer her dreams.

A like the way sleep and dream merge with reality. Scary, though it is!

Some people try to run away from their depression by taking heavy dose of sleep.
But it just appeared in their dreams.
