Wintry Vista
Swans glide over inky waters
gentle ripples cast as they go
The morning sun slowly awakens
dawn brings us this warming glow
Pastel shades appear in the sky
above black silhouettes of trees
Meanwhile on this wintery vista
wild bird song drifts on the breeze
