Never Say It's..........

Never say it’s………...

There is a volume I know goes beyond

any of Britannica, any of decibel that rocks

and thumps of loudest – metallica,

it is a volume – having no dial to control

or shelf to mount,

and the moment you sense it,

you’re dazzled and sung and filled

with any chorus of binary star systems,

any ‘mass’ of celestial body known ‘planet.’

There is a book I know of, has no start no ending

and nor would you want to have it so,

every page is filled only with that day

and as much as you want to turn the page,

it is best to let the day linger for

every day is new and once the page turned,

you cannot turn it back but let your heart

   engage a concept known life.

There is a being I yearn for,

she possesses something I do not have and yet,

I see tears and hurt, anguish and pain -

as I peer into eyes solemn with a love -

        nobody understands.

There is someone there, and here,

I wish could hold each others hand,

lean in on each and let tears roll as one,

     roll beyond any notions;-

‘words convey all we want to say,’

roll beyond the horizon that ends every day,

roll beyond the fortitude that others are overjoyed for,

roll beyond the stabbing and the cutting as our contrast fuels their hate.

A great man once said words to me,

but not a private insight into the beating of his heart,

        they were words of wisdom,

             words of love,

words of pride and words of life,

                        words for everyone and

to this day Nomalungelo I hold those words dear,

and to you I will say once again -

and every day until those words are here

as everyone understands a single sentience known love,

to you Nomalungelo, and to everyone,

                                                    ‘I have a dream.’

more prevalent than ever before as now, apartheid is placed in the subliminal conscience of yourself they never want you to get in touch with.

...........when the racists shout 'this is our town,' do not let on you're aware of the Jumanje Synopsis, or that the Simian Being wants his form back, after all experiments have now degraded not only this World, but our physical hybrid being.

HNY let's hope for a Galactic Management Team who can guide 'we' juvenile and help repair flora fauna and tree, wildlife and peoples - instead of control freaks who've turned this world into a laboratory.

wear a pale blue disc of approx 5 inches in diameter if the Galactics initiate a strike to claim what we have destroyed.

These worlds only have a limited opportunity to evolve life in the Goldilocks Zone and we have let this one be destroyed by our gluttonous rulers.

never stop hoping.

Martin Elder ...........................thank you very much for a positive response.

You're obviously a kindred spirit not just in prose but in the best wishes upon this World and Universe.

May you and your family have a fantastic 2023.

This is a great poem. I particularly like the second stanza.
'There is a book I know of no start no ending'
what a fabulous line

Love the whole piece
