Crimson Leaves

entry picture

There is nothing more enchanting
than a woodland at this time of year
Shrouded in a cloak of fog and mist the hidden birds are all I hear

Towering trees rise like tall giants
from the earth they reach to the sky
Caught in the tight grip of autumn
the last  crimson leaves delight the eye

Thanks for the likes and comments. Yes sorry about leaving the speaker sign, I’d probably have done the same 😁. Hope you enjoyed your walk John.

Silly me, I've just tried to click the "loudspeaker" on your pic-thinking I'd hear some birdsong.😕
