Grand Finale
On this delightful October morning
the trees are singing their autumn colours
Their finale conducted at full pelt
none more loudly than this pair of acers
Gold with a hint of fiery embers
and crimson so deep you could dive right in
The autumn show has come to our
town
let the dazzling performance begin

I've got a Japanese cherry blossom in a pot in our south facing garden.
Its leaves turned a gorgeous shade of red but the show only lasted a couple of days.
