Everyone needs more money
to pay for their fuel each day
Employees want more money
they strike to demand more pay 

Employers face a problem 
they need to pay their staff more
So they increase the pay rates
and see their running costs soar

Companies left with no choice
they need to hike up prices 
Forced to pass on these costs 
to cover the pay rises  

The employees are happy 
now they have all they asked for
Until they realise 
due to rising costs they need much more 

If the fuel costs don’t reduce
this cycle will never stop 
It’s all a viscious circle
