I've experienced many birthdays ,not done much wrong,

Statistics show that those who have many birthdays live long.

Forget about the past you can't change it,

Forget about the future you can't predict it,

Forget about the PRESENT I didn't get it !!

 

When I think about my age ,it brings on a frown,

It seems to always go up but never comes down.

I like birthdays,so long live Hugh,

But on the other hand to many added years can kill you.

 

Life is a pleasure and I love to fly free,

Feeling warm on the 2nd 'cos people keep toasting me.

Getting old always used to bring on stress and fears,

Got over it now ,not changed the numbers for years.

 

I was fortunate to be born with a twin brother,

But I was certainly not favoured by my mother,

And I definitely didn't feel very hearty,

When she asked me to blow up the balloons for HIS party !!

 

Getting old gave one of my friends a start,

When he and his teeth started sleeping apart.

And a very old friend of mine,frequently would have a nap,

But due to his age was accidently buried,a tragic mishap.

Jake asked his doctor why he had heartburn after eating his birthday cake,

"Try taking the candles off before eating it Jake !!"
