Drinking Culture

A pint at the National Gallery,

A vodka and lime at the Tate,

A large single malt at Parsifal,

In the interval while you wait.

Then off to a poetry reading,

Where you gulp down large helpings of booze;

Before ending up at a jazz club,

With slateloads of cocktails to choose.

Next morning there's consolation

That you know you've improved your mind,

Although your most pressing project

In one vacant bathroom to find.

Thanks very much, John and Carol. I posted this because I liked the play on words in the title. Yes, John, the protagonist in this is not doing himself much good, at least not from a health point of view! Yes, why not 'booze' for next challenge?

Thanks to Nigel, Frederick, MC, Tom, Rose, Stephen, Aisha, Holden, Kevin and K Lynn for the likes.

Shame on you Stephen 😂 Still at least you were improving your mind, whilst killing off your brain cells haha. Is 'booze' the next 10 line challenge?!
