There are a good many

schools of thought

who believe in two opposing forces.

Good & Evil

Order & Chaos

Light & Dark

 

What if I were to tell you

I believe

In Love

& Structure

and the evil in our world is found in choosing one over the other

in either sense.

 

Love is the chaotic force in this world.

People will do some crazy stuff out of love.

But without any structure,

All that substance is left without meaning or significance.

 

Structure and rules base our daily interactions,

The morality that tells us life has some inherent value,

But without Love,

All those rules loose their substance,

and the burden that is left is too heavy for anything too bear.

 

To chase after pleasure and the here and now,

is to loose any sense of meaning

in which life and authenticity

are highest priority.

 

To follow Law, without any genuine care for others,

the very definition of religious hypocrisy.

 

These two forces do not oppose each other,

For Freedom and Meaning is found

in these both working together,

with neither one taking president over the other.

An infinity fine line, running right down the center of reality.
