Mud (Ten line challenge)

It was a Friday in late May
and it had been raining most of the day
Fine drizzle had fallen for hours
which was good for the grass and flowers
As the grey clouds finally blew away
a bright rainbow came our way
There was no pot of gold to be found
where the rainbow’s end met the ground
We searched and searched as best as we could
but all we found was puddles of mud

Hey curiousdud3, nice to see you are back. All good with me thanks. Hope all good with you. I have had a couple of invites from John Botterill to take on a 10 line challenge with the them of a word. I’ll tag you next time. Hope you see some of your writes soon. Strange how I manage to sum up the day as I’m in Tunisia right now. 😁 I guess I know what I’m flying home to.

Hey Julie, hope you are well. This sums up the day exactly.

What's this 10 line challenge all about? I've seen a few now 😀
