Colours Of Spring
A beautiful afternoon stroll
under azure blue, cloudless skies
The churchyard full of spring colour
a wonderful treat for the eyes
The delicate pink blossom tree
a prominent star of the show
While the carpet of daffodils
dazzle us with their golden glow
The crocus are slightly fading
hues of purple, yellow and white
Holly trees a rich, emerald green
their leaves reflect the bright sunlight
The ashen stone walls and gravestones
perform as the perfect background
The churchyard in springtime
where a rainbow of colour can be found
