The sounds of amorous frogs 
has been so loud and clear recently
Given space to do their thing
left to do what comes naturally 

One of the most amazing sights 
that comes along this time of year 
A thousand micro miracles 
waiting to emerge and appear 

Our pond is full of new life 
we hope that many will survive 
Like proud parents we will be 
ready to greet them when they arrive
