What Will Happen To The Women

It’ is reported that The Women

Will be used

As weapons of war

Like thousands who have gone before

Their bodies will be targets

Breeding grounds for ethnic cleansing

They will have no say

Against the men

Who will have their way

By force

And anger

A deranged sense

Of ownership

See Bosnia

And Rwanda

Thousands born

Torn from the wombs

Of women and girls

Forced to pander

To the demons

Of war

Fathers forced to rape daughters

Sons their mothers

Destruction of community

Aimed at creating

The sense of other

Gang raped

And enslaved

For the delectation

Of the depraved

Walk on brave soldiers

And ask yourselves

What will happen

To these women

Mothers

Daughers

Sisters

Aunts

Whom you have taken

With brutal force

How do you defend

Your stance?

Do you truly believe

It is your God given right?

I want to hear

You don’t sleep at night

That you understand

This awful plight

Willfully inflicted

By your wicked spirit

Supposedly to win your fight

Are you proud of your legacy

Pain and torture

And misery?

Do you honestly believe

That when you die

The devil

Will release your soul?

You’ve done his bidding

Having sown his seed

Your evil will live on

For eternity

So it’s best you now

Make your peace

And accept

That you will never be freed

But what will happen to The Women?

I pray they will make peace

That their lives will be eased

Their minds and hearts

Will somehow be released

From your evil deeds

And the children who are born?

I wish them a happy life

Free from war

And the sins of their fathers

I hope they are able to love

And be loved

By the women

From whose wombs

They were torn.
