Storm Eunice is wreaking havoc
across the whole of Great Britain 
I’m listening to the radio 
safe and warm in my kitchen 

People told to stay at home 
as severe conditions are due 
There is chaos on the roads 
on the railways and ferries too

Big Jet TV films brave pilots 
attempt to land in gusty blows
Due to the extreme high winds 
some airports have been forced to close 

We are up in the north west
for once we are not the worst hit
Down south is on a red warning
they are taking the brunt of it

The highest ever wind speeds
recorded off the Isle of Wight 
Forecasters predict the alerts
will be in place until midnight  

The news continues through the day
reporting on the storms course 
There is deep snow in Scotland 
flood alerts are still in force

Thousands of homes without power
a man killed by a falling tree
Part of The 02 roof is ripped off
damage caused by flying debris

The whole country is affected
nowhere is safe from the storm
Whilst Eunice is wreaking havoc
