What is success?

There's a question chasing me

Trying to rake my brain completely

Looking in every nook and cranny

For all plausible plans to achieve it

The query like a spear behind me

Still finding the right place dive in

All the cheering and glad tidings

Alternative reasoning and logic

What's success? What it means to me?

I scratched a tiny little spot over my head

Trying to scrape out the reason best

Till I received my answers heavenly

Clothed in divine words it showered upon me

It's indeed the greatest guidance and wisdom

An answer that's most soothing with contentment

Success is in being able to understand well

A life of righteous purpose fulfilling commandments

Living in such a way that you are highly satisfied

With divine decree and what's already written

An unshakeable faith in Almighty God that keeps you going

Even in times of difficulties passing the tests with ease

A blessing for sure of faith and belief

Reaching the gates of heavenly home after earth we leave

True success isn't easy to attain

For not everyone is worthy of divine game

Rest I leave you to implore and explore

Trying to find the meaning of the word success

It ain't in a dime or golden discs you keep

It's something that only a healthy wealthy heart perceives
