We are blessed with a planet full of trees,

A towering gift of pleasure put there to please.

On my favourite walk trees abound,

Their roots  brilliantly spread around.

 

Their roots are our foundation,

A breath of fresh air for our nation.

Trees spread happiness all around,

Firmly embedded in the ground.

 

Leaves fluttering from an autumn tree,

Revealing branches,a joy to see.

Through the branches the sun does gleam,

Arousing in us a perfect dream.

 

I have developed a tree loving bug,

Encouraging humanity to give them a hug.

Trees transmit peace and solitude,

Guaranteeing a positive and relaxing mood.

 

Trees reaching so high is pure elegance,

To preserve their existence we must enhance.

Nature is there to entertain us all,

Look after our forests ,hear my call.

 

Forests are the lungs of our land,

Why we destroy them I can't understand.

We must aim to plant many more,

To breathe in the fresh air we all adore.

 

Seeing a tree grow I do love,

Watching it reaching the sky above.

In times of stress when it's hard to cope,

Trees shelter us with love ,grace and hope.
