On a dull August morning
the sky a dismal grey
What a treat to come across
this pretty sight today
Majestic tall sunflowers
radiate golden rays
Bright and beautiful rainbow
stunning floral displays
A divine scent fills the air
wafts on the early breeze
A smorgasbord of texture
feeds butterflies and bees
