Criminals

The red light

And its stunning sight

Remind me of

Our lips when they fight

The blue blaze

As the siren plays

Reminds me of

Your eyes and their gaze

I didn’t care that I

Was being arrested

I don’t even fear to die

If my love gets contested

Because my love is real

Even if it is a crime

Being guilty isn’t a deal

To love is, this time

In a world where two men

Holding hands engender, tears trouble trials, and

More concern than ten

Thousand bombs and Panzers, dooming a stolen land

We are considered criminals

Just because we kissed, some people got fazed

But their hate, their subliminals

And the curses they hissed, manage to be praised
