This murmuration of Starlings

Makes for an amazing sight

Captured on film, early evening

That time between day and night

 

Gathering in their thousands

To discuss events of the day

Perhaps to keep warm and safe

Collectively they fly this way

 

Swooping, swaying, diving

Moving simultaneously as one

Hypnotising, breathtaking

A thousand Starlings in unison

 

Like a shape shifting shadow

Dancing across the dusky sky

Mother Natures theatre show

A magical sight, for you and I
