THE BAR

Once more time, the bar

Open its door to anyone

Discolored red walls

Announce, it had better times.

Opaque lights

Protect who wants to be unnoticed

The possibility to forget

Invite to drink a bitter beer.

Loud Music, symphony of voices

Chatting and laughing,

Numb the minds

Suddenly nothing matters

Just the song playing.

Another beer,

Another song,

Heads dance following the rhythm

Closed eyes draw different worlds

Hands stroke the rustic wood in the old tables,

Just by the pleasure of touch something,

Time flies.

Everything warnings that

It’s time to go home,

The old watch on the wall,

The sour smell coming from

Drinks abandoned on the tables,

The slow music,

The magic has finished

All fun was gone

Only a deep sadness

accompany the latest clients

those who resist the inevitable

The time to go home ...
