The love triangle is over
The battle has been won
And now the happy couple
Come together to live as one

Or maybe it is kiss catch
In and around the ceramic pots
On their own garden patch

Like a Benny Hill chase
Running at fast forward speed
Stop to pick over the leaves
On bugs and worms they feed

The blackbirds entertain me
Morning, noon and night
Brightening up the grey days
A welcome and comical sight
